{"id":1528,"date":"2013-03-07T23:19:03","date_gmt":"2013-03-07T22:19:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.weirdbutinagoodway.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1528"},"modified":"2013-03-08T08:59:20","modified_gmt":"2013-03-08T07:59:20","slug":"cheats-paella","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.weirdbutinagoodway.co.uk\/blog\/2013\/03\/07\/cheats-paella\/","title":{"rendered":"Cheat&#8217;s Paella"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This isn&#8217;t really a paella it&#8217;s more of fish, rice salad but it&#8217;s roots are definitely in the Spanish dish and it&#8217;s really really easy. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Cheat&#8217;s Paella<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.weirdbutinagoodway.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/wpid-20130306_183855.jpg?ssl=1\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"20130306_183855.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.weirdbutinagoodway.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/wpid-20130306_183855.jpg?w=604&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Frozen vegetable rice (I used a Sainsbury&#8217;s steam in the bag thing)<br \/>\n1\/2 Tin of ham<br \/>\n1\/2 Tin of tuna in spring water<br \/>\nKing prawns, cooked and ready to eat (as many as you like, and I like a lot)<br \/>\nSoy sauce<br \/>\nCos lettuce<\/p>\n<p>I made this for 2 of us so with that in mind you can scale up or down as you like.<\/p>\n<p>Stream the rice as per the instructions on the bag.<br \/>\nWhile this is cooking drain the tuna and open the ham.<br \/>\nCut the ham into small strips and flake the tuna into a bowl.<br \/>\nOnce the rice is cooked put into a bowl and stir in the ham tuna and prawns.<br \/>\nServe immediately over a bed of Cos lettuce (I like the crunch) with a sprinkling of soy sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Job done, simple easy cheat&#8217;s paella.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This isn&#8217;t really a paella it&#8217;s more of fish, rice salad but it&#8217;s roots are definitely in the Spanish dish and it&#8217;s really really easy.
