The Sumner RSA (Returned Services Association) building was devastated in a rock fall during the Feb 22 2011 Earthquake.<\/p>\n

While I would love to just post beautiful landscapes, nature and wildlife – Images of the superb New Zealand scenery, the reality is Christchurch and its suburbs are still struggling under the weight of the task ahead of them, re-building their beautiful city.<\/p>\n

Now 3 months on many many buildings are fallen or set to be demolished and rubble still lies in the streets – this is what we saw while we were there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
